Puppy Reservation Deposit

To reserve one of our precious puppies, a non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit ensures that your chosen puppy is held exclusively for you and will not be offered to any other family.

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances (including buyer change of mind, financial reasons, or living situation changes).
The deposit amount will be clearly communicated at the time of reservation and applied toward the total purchase price.

That said, we understand that unexpected circumstances can sometimes occur. Our refund policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and compassionate, ensuring both you and your puppy are treated with care and respect. The details of this policy are outlined below:

1. Health Guarantee-Related Refunds

If within 14 days of receiving your puppy, a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a life-threatening illness or contagious disease present at the time of sale, and written documentation is provided, we offer:

Option 1: Full refund of the purchase price (excluding the non-refundable deposit and shipping costs)
Option 2: Replacement puppy of equal value (subject to availability)

Additionally, we provide a 12-month genetic health guarantee (covered in our Health Guarantee policy). If a congenital or hereditary condition is diagnosed within this period, a partial refund or replacement may apply, depending on the situation and documented proof.

2. Buyer’s Remorse or Change of Circumstances

Please understand that at Fancy Toy Poodles, we are unable to offer refunds for reasons such as:

Buyer’s remorse
Personal circumstances or lifestyle changes
Allergies discovered after purchase
Relocation or moving
Financial hardship

Our Return Policy:

We will accept the return of a puppy at any age; however, please note that refunds are only available for health conditions covered under our health guarantee. Returns unrelated to these conditions will not be eligible for a refund.
Transportation Costs: The buyer is responsible for all return shipping or transportation expenses.
Required Documentation: Any returned puppy must be accompanied by all original registration papers, health records, and any other documents provided at the time of purchase.

Shipping Fees & Costs

Shipping fees, travel crate costs, and third-party transportation expenses are non-refundable under any circumstances, including health-related returns or cancellations.

Conditions for Refund or Replacement

To qualify for any refund or replacement, the following conditions must be met:

Veterinarian Confirmation: A licensed veterinarian must provide official documentation of the diagnosed health issue.
Written Notification: Fancy Toy Poodles must be notified in writing (email or letter) within the applicable time frame (14 days for general health, 12 months for genetic conditions).
Proof of Care: Buyer must show proof of proper care, including vet records, vaccinations, and appropriate living conditions.
Non-Transferability: The refund and return policy applies only to the original buyer and is non-transferable.

Final Sale Disclaimer

All sales are considered final after the 14-day general health guarantee period, except in the case of conditions covered under the 12-month genetic health guarantee. We encourage open communication before, during, and after the adoption process to ensure a successful experience for both you and your puppy.
